My favorite passage from the Gospels is

when the Angel proclaims the birth of Christ to the shepherds. In a way, the Angel was the first missionary, spreading the Word that our Savior is born. 'Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all men." Luke 2:10. These tidings of "great joy" are what I wish to share both with you and the people of Albania. That our Savior is here, and that He is risen form the dead, to bring us back to life.

Remember that we are all called to answer to the Great Commission. Understandably, not everyone can actually go to other countries to spread the "Tidings of Great Joy". This is why I am going. As your representative.

I hope and pray that you will be there with me, sharing in my struggles and my joys, my laughter and my tears, as I go to Albania to help Archbishop Anastasios achieve his vision with and for the youth of Albania. To share with them the Feasts of the Church year as living events, happening right here, now, today.

About Me

My photo
Faith Elisabeth
I LOVE musicals! I am fascinated by many things which include (but are not limited to) criminal psychology, egyptology, english history and literarure. I love old movies and sitting down to a really good book. I'm afraid that my life isn't very interesting, but watching movies, reading books, listening to music, and sharing it all with those I love, makes my life a joy and a pleasure. :-D I am the daughter of an Orthodox priest and my Faith is all important to me. It allows me to see light in situations where once I saw only darkness. It comforts me when I feel alone and incapable of going on. It gives me the strength to get up and try again! Above all things, I love sharing what I love and enjoy with others, and what I love most is my church. To bring that Light, will be such an awesome responsibility. Only with God's help, and your prayers can I accomplish such a task!
